Welcome to my portfolio website! My name is Lavelle, and I am a digital marketer with a passion for taking online stores, companies, and social media accounts to the next level as a digital marketing coordinator.

My journey in digital marketing started nearly a decade ago when I was running my own beat selling production business and had a hit song on mainstream radio. I was curious about what gets songs played on the radio, so I reached out to my mentor in the music industry, and he told me the answer was "Advertising." Intrigued, I took his advice and delved into the world of digital marketing, e-commerce, managing online stores, search engine optimization, social media marketing, email marketing, and Google Analytics.

I began my career in digital marketing with my first employer, who took a chance on me due to my experience with ad campaigns and email marketing. As someone who's always been passionate about digital marketing, I'm grateful for the opportunity my first employer gave me to learn and grow in the industry. With my initial experience in ad campaigns and email marketing, I was able to contribute to my company's blog, which focused on the latest updates to Google Ads (then called AdWords). It was through my posts on that blog that Google discovered me, and I've been fortunate to be a part of the team that announces the latest changes and updates to Google Ads ever since.

Having hands-on experience with buying ads myself, I'm able to quickly grasp how these updates will impact advertisers' workflows. I'm enthusiastic about telling Google's story to our advertisers and helping companies of all sizes find success and grow their businesses. The ever-evolving nature of the digital marketing industry, with Google's constant innovation, keeps me motivated to continually learn and stay at the forefront of the field.
